With nearly 20 years of experience working with people with a varied range of disabilities and care needs. i am adaptable within my role to meet the needs of each person i am supporting to ensure their needs are met .

i am able to communicate effectively with the people in my care, their families, and other professionals to provide person centered approach is maintained throughout the care provided to them.

I am passionate about actively supporting the people i work with to encourage independence and empowerment to allow them to have a choice and have as much control of their life as they are physically and cognitively able to.

Soon becoming a newly qualified Learning Disability Nurse my knowledge and education will allow me to have the most up to date training and evidence based learning and spending time on bespoke placements within Learning Disabilities, pediatric, mental health and dementia care and assessment i feel i have a lot to bring to my new role as a band 5 Learning Disability Nurse.

I am adaptable , enthusiastic, hard working, pro active, responsible and reliable with the health and safety of the people i support being my top priority.
